MaeDell Gobert Bellard's Obituary
Our beloved mother MaeDell Gobert Bellard passed away peacefully in her home on June 21, 2025, at the age of 83. She is survived by her daughter; Kimberly Annette Bellard, son; Paul Bellard Jr; grandchildren; Rylee Paige Bellard (16) and Elias Antoine Bellard (11), two sisters; Aline Orphy and Elizabeth Perkins and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was born in Louisiana on May 1, 1942. She met her husband at a zydeco dance and got married soon after. She loved to garden with her husband and to help him compete with his brother, Lionel Bellard for the most productive garden. She loved to go deer hunting with her husband, Paul and brother Phillip Gobert. We all loved meeting up on opening day and spending time together as a family. Her and husband loved to travel in their RV from state to state and enjoy the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bellard Sr; her parents Marion and Amy Gobert, two sisters; Mathilda Guillory and Doris Gobert, four brothers; Phillip, Elias, Steven and Marion (Uncle Boy).
The viewing is at Southpark Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 1310 North Main, Pearland, TX 77581, on June 30, 2025, at 9:30am. All friends and family are welcome. The family asks that donations be made in her name to the Pancreatic Cancer Network (PANCAN) instead of flowers or other gifts.
