Madison Rayne Davis' Obituary
Madison Rayne Davis, our sweet baby girl, was born on October 11, 2015. Just 6 days after coming into the world, Madison, passed away peacefully in her parents’ arms on October 17, 2015 at the Texas Children's Hospital. She is the beautiful daughter of Melany Elizabeth and Charles Heath Davis, of Pearland, TX. During her short time with us, she touched many lives and was loved by all who met her. She will always be loved and missed greatly.
Born nearly thirteen weeks early and weighing only 1 lbs, 6oz, Madison was still able to grip her mother’s finger and respond to her father’s touch during her brief stay on earth. She had a head full of dark hair, brown eyes and a very cute nose.
Madison joins her great-grandfathers, Raymond E. Davis, Mack Skidmore; great-grandmother, Annie Davis, great-grandparents, Henry Charles and Joan Zagone, and Edwin and Charlotte Vogel, in heaven.
She is survived by her great-grandma Stella Davis, of Fort Worth, TX; her grandmother Nicki Vogel, of Fort Worth, TX; her grandparents Edwin F. Vogel III and Susan Gordes, of Baltimore, MD; her grandparents Lesley and John Diller, of Manvel, TX; her grandparents Bill and Carol Davis, of Sacramento, CA; her aunt and uncle Heather and Daniel Perez, of Pasadena, TX; her uncles Derek Vogel and Stephen Vogel, of Baltimore, MD: her uncle Ryan Gillespie, of Pasadena, TX; and numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and family friends.
The family would like to thank the Texas Children's Hospital staff for their effort and dedication.
Visitation and funeral service will take place at Southpark Funeral Home and Cemetery 1310 North Main St. Pearland, TX 77581. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 11:45 AM until service time at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.
