Madeline Carol Wells' Obituary
Madeline Carol Wells, 74, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 in Webster, Texas after a long battle with illness. Carol was born in Galveston, Texas on August 04, 1947 to Everette Franklin McCann Sr. and Frances H. McCann.
Carol attended Texas City High School where she later graduated. She married Thomas Michael Wells after meeting in Houston, and they shared a beautiful 33 years together. Carol worked at Saks Fifth Avenue and later had a lengthy career in sales at Macy’s, which she loved, and had many coworker friends until her retirement.
Carol loved her family; cats, Red and Sissy; and all of her many friends. She collected Native American items and was proud of her Native family heritage. Carol was always dressed to the nines with her beautiful clothing and unique jewelry, signature red lipstick and red nail polish. She was a long time member of Faith Springs Church in Pearland and enjoyed Sunday service, luncheons and celebrations as well as volunteering with her precious church companions/friends.
Carol is proceeded in death by her parents, Everette and Frances McCann; Son, Robert Scott Parks IV; Sister, Mary Frances Wilson; Brother, Everette McCann Jr.; and Daughter, Magan Squires. She is survived by her Husband, Thomas Michael Wells; Daughter and Son in Law, Michelle and John Calzada; Sister, Stella Sweeny; Niece Kelley Berrones and Husband Erik; Debra Warren and Darlene Rock; Grandchildren, Eric Scott Squires and Bailey Squires; Great Nephew, Jonathan Berrones.
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland with Pastor Gregory Williams officiating. Prayers are welcome.
