Luis Ray Moore Luis Ray Moore left this world and now is soaring with the angels in Heaven. He passed from this world to the next on May 3rd, 2007. Luis Ray was a soldier in Vietnam and served his country proudly in the late 1960's to the early 1970's. Luis Ray received a Purple Heart for his bravery and putting his country ahead of his own safety. Luis Ray was born in Hughs Springs, Texas on June 1st, 1947 to Bob Thomas & Sarah Moore. His brothers are Johnny Moore, Larry Moore, Bobby Moore, Kenneth Moore and his only sister is Margaret Moore. Margaret stood by his side and cared for him for the last few years of his life. Her children are Luis Ray's nephews & niece. Their names are the following: Chester Dunkin, Brian Chmylak, Christine Studemeyer.
Luis Ray has four children and one stepson who he loved and adored for all of his life. His children names and their spouses are the following: Terri & Michael Poe, Hilton (Bubba) Thomas Moore & Gina D'Orazio, Tammy & Troy Foley, Raymond (Louie) Luis Moore, James Richardson.
Luis Ray has many grandchildren who filled his life with love and happiness. His grandchildren's names are the following: Amanda Bull, Desiree Murdock, Cameron Murdock, Branden Murdock, Cynthia Moore, D'ann Capps, & Seth Capps. Luis Ray was married two times in his fifty-nine years. His first marriage was to Margie Lou Hunt and they were married twenty-three years and had three children. His second marriage was to Rhonda Jones and was married ten years and had one son. Luis Ray was someone who touched many lives in his short time upon this Earth. He had many friends and family who loved him very much. Luis Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Thomas & Sarah Moore, brother, Johnny Moore and his mother-in-law Betty Lou Hunt. The family will receive visitors from 6 ' 8:00 p.m., May 7th, 2007 at South Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., May 8th, 2007 at SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St., Pearland, Luis Ray Moore is lying in the arms of his lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
