Mr. Luis R. Gonzalez Jr.'s Obituary
Luis R. Gonzalez, Jr. (59 yrs old), from Houston, TX, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Gonzalez was born on October 1, 1955 in Chicago, IL. Luis was a believer and soldier for Jesus Christ. He had much love for God, his wife, children, family and friends. There was not a day that you wouldn’t see Luis laughing, praising and sharing God’s word with others.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Maria Santana Gonzalez, and special dog Molly. Eldest daughter, Lindsay M. Swanagan; husband, Wayne D. Swanagan, Jr.; grandson Tyler Luis Swanagan, and granddaughter Madison L. Swanagan; youngest daughter Jessica M. Gonzalez and grand dogs Lola and Zoe.
Mr. Gonzalez is also survived by Sisters, Nilda Alicia Aldas, Iris Vince, Dina Gonzalez, Ella Marsha Cruz, their spouses and children.
He was predeceased by his parents Luis R. Gonzalez, Sr. and Dalila A. Gonzalez; brother Miguel Molina and sister Maria Molina.
Mr. Gonzalez’s ‘Home Coming Celebration’ will be held on Saturday, March 28th at New Life Community Church located at 606 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX. Visitation will be held at the church between 9am -10am and service to follow at 10am-noon. Graveside service and burial will take place at 1pm at South Park Funeral Home located at 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, TX.
