Mr. Loyd Spencer Peterson's Obituary
Loyd Spencer Peterson, born July 12, 1926 in Crockett, TX, entered into rest Sept. 9, 2011. Mr. Peterson served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife Mickey, son Fred L. Peterson, granddaughter Jana Chitty, and 9 brothers and sisters. His survivors include daughter Sharlotte Ritter Peterson, son Larry Peterson and his wife Sharon, daughter-in-law Janet Peterson, grandchildren Jeanne Mills and her husband Greg, Joe Chitty, Debra Hanna and her husband Johnny, Laurie Peterson Herridge and her husband Mark, Jonathan Ritter, and Matthew Loyd Peterson, great grandchildren Taylor Chitty, Jeremy Mills, Zachary Mills, Carson Mills, Kristin Mills, Bailey Hanna, Brady Hanna, Jayden Hanna, Preston Hanna, Alex Herridge and Emily Herridge, and brother Harry Peterson and his wife Edwina. The family will receive visitors Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at 9 a.m. at SouthPark Funeral Home with a service of remembrance to follow at 10:30 a.m. at the graveside of SouthPark Cemetery.
