Louise Williamson's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise Ann Williamson, neé Ingebritson, who left this world on Friday, October 27, 2023, surrounded by the love of her husband Bob and sister Ruth. Born on March 10, 1945, in Albert Lea, MN. Louise spent her younger years on a small rural farm of Frost, MN.
Louise's life was woven with love, compassion, and dedication to her church. On June 15, 1985, she joined her life with Robert (Bob) Williamson in marriage, and together they embarked on a journey to Pearland, TX filled with shared dreams. Louise was an esteemed member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pearland, TX, where her faith provided a guiding light.
In retirement Louise dedicated her time and energy to causes close to her heart, volunteering with Christian Helping Hands, Meals on Wheels, and various activities within First Presbyterian Church. Her kindness was extensive and impacted many lives in a quiet manner.
Professionally, Louise worked as an administrative assistant, working for 20 years at Iowa State University in the Memorial Union and later contributing her skills to Sears and DXP after her move to Pearland in 1985.
Louise's passions were Christian celebrations and birthdays. She found immense joy in the holiday seasons, especially Christmas and Easter, adorning her home with festive decorations that reflected her love for these special times of the year. Her creativity found expression in her garden, knick-knack crafts, and delightful lunches with friends. Louise's walks around her neighborhood multiple times per day were other methods for her to expend her energy.
As a true vintage organizer, Louise never missed an opportunity to send a card for birthdays and anniversaries ensuring she stayed connected with friends and family. Her cards included notes detailing the events of her and Bob. The cards always included a small amount of money which was appreciated by all.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Clara Ingebritson, brother Richard Ingebritson, nephew Brian Fredrickson, and stepson Rob Williamson.
In the embrace of memory, Louise is survived by her devoted husband Bob, her sister Ruth Fredrickson, stepchildren Scott (Cathy) Williamson, Shawn (Lori) Williamson, and Sharla (Bruce) Chenoweth. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Dean Fredrickson, Dale (Wendy) Fredrickson, Lynn (Brad) Haugen, Daniel (Kayla) Larkin, Brandon Larkin , as well as her grandchildren Gable (Hailey) Williamson, Tyler Hatfield, Jordan Lamb, Drea Lamb, and Saydee Smith. Great grandchildren and nephews include Hudson Williamson, Brecken Williamson, Rhett Larkin.
