loving memory of Louisa Bent
Louisa Bent, known affectionately as “Ticky Jo,” went Home to be with Jesus on February 11th, 2024. Louisa was born on November 15th, 1957 in Hyderabad, India. Her personality was larger than life and she always made those around her laugh. She was not afraid to speak her mind and had a real zest for life. Her faith was unwavering and remained incredibly strong - even when tested. Louisa’s life was a testament to resilience and strong-will.
Louisa enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking and story-telling. She had a very generous spirit and was always there for those in need. Louisa’s family was her greatest joy. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Mario Bent, her two sons, Savio and Floyd Bent and their spouses, Nafeesa and Chani Bent and her precious grandsons, Maximus and Michael Bent.
In addition to her immediate family, Louisa is also survived by her four sisters, Audrey, Jenny, Lorna, and Lynn. They would like to offer their gratitude to Mario, Floyd and Chani for the excellent care, support, and love they blessed Ticky Jo with over the last few months.
Louisa now reunites with her beautiful daughter, Michelle Bent, her loving parents, and all her loved ones who preceded her.
A heartfelt thank you to all those who offered thoughts and prayers to our family during this time. A special thank you to Mario, Floyd and Chani who spent every last moment with her over the last few months taking the utmost care of her and loving her unconditionally.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon Louisa Bent.
Please join the family on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at South Park Funeral Home in the Chapel. The family will be there to visit with family and friends beginning at 10:30 AM. A Catholic Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the chapel. We will proceed to South Park Cemetery immediately following the service for burial.
