Louis C Hall's Obituary
Louis C Hall Jr. of Trinity, TX passed away on September 20, 2025 after a hard fought battle with dementia. He was born in James, TX to Louis C. “Jack” Hall Sr. and Frances V. Childress Hall on September 25, 1937. He proudly served in the US Army Airborne from 1952-1954 and was stationed in Alaska and scheduled to go overseas when the war ended. On his return home he worked for Thiokol Chemical Corp, and started selling insurance for Lincoln Liberty Life before receiving a call from Brown & Root where he became a welder. Later he worked for John Brown E & C as QAQC before being a project Manager of the plant in W Va. He retired from Enichem Chemical Company in Seabrook, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Frances as well as his brothers, Jerry D Hall and Joey B Hall, his daughters Susan E. Lavender and Julia A. Denny and son David B. Hall, twin nephews Stephen Hall and Stewart Hall, and niece Deborah E. (Hall) Raspberry.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Jo Ann (Boles) Hall, their daughter Teresa L Hall-Ortega and her husband Enrique (Rick) Ortega and his son Samuel R Lavender, his grandson Samuel E Wickey and wife April May, their children Alexis Wickey & Hunter Wickey, granddaughter Jacqueline M Lavender, her daughters Taylor Ogle and Caliber Sturgeon, granddaughter Kaitlynn R Ortiz (Amaris) and her daughter Henlee Miller.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and Uncle. Also as hard working man who provided well for his family. His hobbies were fishing and hunting. He enjoyed watching Indy 500 races as well as attending a few in person.
Louis was a member of Pearland Masonic Lodge #1384, Pearland, Tx as a 32 degree Mason. And a Shriner of the Scottish Rite AM&FM, Houston, TX and member of Pearland Order of Eastern Star 1065. He was a member of Pioneer Church in Belpre, Oh. and ordained as an Elder. He then later transferred membership to the Webster Presbyterian Church in Webster, TX. He was on the committee for and helped build Chapel in the Pines in Westwood Shores, Trinity, Tx.
Funeral Service will be at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, Pearland Texas September 27, 2025 at 11:00 am graveside service following at 12:00 pm.
