Lorraine "Lori" M. Crase-Paterson, age 93 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Lorraine lived in Pearland, TX where she resided with her daughter Debra
Zimmerman.
Lorraine was formally from Northwest, Indiana. She was born in Clover, Wisconsin on January 16, 1930, the daughter of Walter and Anne Carlson.
After graduating from high school, she married the love of her life, (pen pal) Alvin R.
Crase. From this union they had eight children, Linda L. (Chuck) Barnes, Chesterton, IN., Kathleen E. (Dan) Elwood, Portage, IN., Terrill Crase, Dennis A. (Theresa) Crase, Valparaiso,
IN., Curtis R. (Norma) Crase Labadieville, LA., Debra A. (Wade) Zimmerman, Pearland, TX, Susan M. (Kevin) Porter, Erath, LA., Paul W. (Annette) Crase, Abbeville, LA.
20 Grandchildren, Jerry Barnes, Jon (Amy) Barnes Christopher Barnes (Carol), Valerie (Billy) Allison, Jeffrey (Kelly), Justin (Camille), Michael Crase, Rachel (David) Darnell, Felicia (Michael) Stevens, Lindsey Crase, Brandy (Joe) Jenkins, Monica Rowles (David), Lori Cibak (Frank), Crystal (Lonnie) Rachal, Ashley (Joray), Miller Alicia (Thomas) Winstead, Dustin (Ashley) Crase, Michael Crase (lsmary), Katy Crase, and Jarel Broussard (Whitney) and Janson Crase.
39 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, numerous loving nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Lori served 77 years in the food service industry. She retired after 35 years, at the age of 80, from the Houston City Club. She is a member of New Hope Church. Her hobbies included gardening, shopping, photography, and crafting jewelry.
She was preceded in death by her parents,3 brothers and 2 sisters. Her loving son, Terrill Crase. Her Sons-In-Law, Chuck Barnes, Dan Elwood, and Wade Zimmerman, Lifetime best friend Marie Elias of Portage, IN.
