Mrs. Lorine Kulhanek's Obituary
Lorine E. Kulhanek, 84, passed away in Houston on Saturday, October 29, 2011, following a brief illness. She was born in La Grange, TX on May 13, 1927 to Fred and Pauline Janda. Lorine was an accomplished seamstress and an avid follower of the Houston Astros. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward E. Kulhanek, her parents and sisters, Elsie Stolle, Edna Wernecke, Ann Baranowski, Lillian Kana and brothers, William, Fred and Robert Janda. She is survived by daughter Paulette Heidbreder and her husband Paul, daughter Susan Duchene and her husband Jim, grandchildren Amy and Alison Heidbreder and Cara and Brad Duchene. She also leaves sister Dorothy Will as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00-8:00 pm, on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, Nov. 3, in the SouthPark Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe, Houston 77030.
