Mrs. LoAnn Ferrell's Obituary
LoAnn Ferrell, 73, walked on January 7, 2017
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jesse L. and Lois M. Caldwell; husband: Warren Ferrrell; and brother: Jesse L. Caldwell Jr.
LoAnn is survived by daughters, Kimberly Perry and husband Ray, Michelle Klentzman, and husband Walter, sisters, Mary Herrick, and husband Duane, Laura Morris, and husband Larry, grandchildren, David Tashnek, Joshua Klentzman, Natalie Tashnek, Evan Klentzman and Thomas Klentzman, and her many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.
LoAnn was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and later moved with her family to Alvin, Texas. She was a Citizen Potawatomi Nation tribal member. LoAnn and Warren married in 1/10/64 and raised their two daughters in Alvin. LoAnn and Warren enjoyed many travels and family vacations.
LoAnn was a stay at home mom and very active in her daughters activities. She reentered the workforce in 1990 and began a career at Handy Hardware Wholesale where she worked in the accounts payable department until her retirement in 2013.
LoAnn was an avid sports fan. Oklahoma University was her favorite collage team and she cheered them on as often as possible. She enjoyed tennis, professional football, baseball and later became a fan of Nascar.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Southpark Funeral Home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581.
A service celebrating LoAnn’s life will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel at South Park Funeral Home. LoAnn will be laid to rest next to her loving husband in South Park Cemetery.
She was a one of a kind gal and will be missed by all that knew her.
