Linda Jane Galindo's Obituary
Linda Jane Galindo “Nani”, 71 of Pearland, Texas, peacefully departed to her eternal home on September 6, 2024 surrounded by family.
The visitation and celebration of life will be held on September 15, 2024 from 2pm to 6pm at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581. Pastor Roy Love of Praise Chapel Church in Webster, Texas will be officiating the service.
Linda was born in Sinton, Texas on May 16, 1953. Linda graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1972. She then married Roger Galindo Sr. on July 15, 1978 and they shared a loving marriage that spanned over 46 years.
Linda was a devoted homemaker, mother, wife, and grandmother. Linda enjoyed sewing, cooking, and was heavily involved with church activities such as singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, and participating in various other church functions. On any given day you could find her on the phone encouraging others and praying for you when asked. She was her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader.
Linda is survived by husband Roger Galindo Sr. and her children Margaret (Gabriel) McCourtney, Marissa (Lance) Exum and Roger (Gwen) Galindo Jr. Grandchildren Ana Lajara, Matthew Galindo, Caleb Exum, Carli McCourtney, Natalie Galindo, Wes Galindo, Amanda Galindo, Caden Exum, Lukas Galindo and great-grandchildren.
Linda is survived by siblings Gilberto (Sarah) Cantu Jr., Odelia Rodriguez, Stephanie (Joe) Saldivar, Ruben (Betty) Cantu, Cleo (Benny) Cisneros, Christine (Manuel) Villanueva, Olga Rodriguez, Ernest (Belinda) Galindo, Gracie Guadron, Johnny (Izzy) Galindo, Javier (Elizabeth) Galindo, Shirley Nunez , Leticia (Carlos) Obregon. Linda had over 150 nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
She is also proceeded in death by her parents Gilberto Cantu Sr., Margarita Cantu, sister Elizabeth (Ronald) Ainsworth, brother-in-law Hilberto Nunez, and nephew Ricardo Hidalgo Jr.
