Lilly Xena Sara Barger's Obituary
Lilly Xena Sara Barger…she was a sweet soul and had a kind spirit whose nature always blessed her family and friends. She left this world unexpectedly on Sunday June 6, 2021 and her passing leaves a void in the lives of all of those who knew and loved her. Lilly was born on July 23, 2001 to Ginger McWhorter Barger and Michael Barger surrounded by a room full of family waiting to welcome her into the world.
Lilly enjoyed many creative endeavors and loved bringing beauty into the world. She loved creating art expressing herself through brilliant hair and makeup and she loved the beach and collecting sea shells. Lilly and her mom shared a special bond and their fun times together will be remembered always. Lilly also had a special love for her niece May and her big brother Hudson. She is the much-loved granddaughter of Ronnie & Shirley McWhorter and David & Shirley Pratt, niece of Ronda & LeRoy Mayers, Jill Todaro, Keri & Tim Aschoff and Tammy Wilkerson. Her cousins Mikaela Aschoff, Kyle Aschoff, Ireland Todaro, Kamden Aschoff, Paris Todaro, and Hailey Wilkerson will miss their Lilly tremendously. They were a crew of best friends. Lilly leaves behind very close family friends Tracy Schmersal, Jan Schmersal, Symphony Tucker, Manon Hughes and Nolan Hughes. She survived by numerous extended family and friends who love and miss her.
Though Lilly will be missed more than words can describe, we find comfort knowing she is without pain and at peace surrounded by her great grandparents David Arden (Papaw) & Louella McWhorter (Mamaw) and Toy (Papaw) & Mary McDonald (Granny) along with her beloved Aunt “Nuni” Andrea Hughes. We know that Granny and Mamaw are having fun cooking for their sweet great granddaughter and she and Nuni are listening to music together.
Funeral services for our Lilly will be on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. and funeral services at 2 p.m. A reception will be held afterwards.
