Lewis Andrew Hilton, age 81, of Houston, Texas, died, Monday, December 28, 2009 at home in Trinity, Texas. He was born on September 15, 1928 in Cherry Point, Texas. He was a boatman on the Mississippi river for Parker Brothers. He was raised in Galena Park, Texas. He lettered on the football team at Galena Park High School. Worked for Shell Chemical A & B Dept for 34 yrs. Retired and moved to Rockport, Texas, the one place he loved. He was an avid fisherman. His health brought him back to Houston area of Kingwood, Texas. He then moved to live with his daughter in Trinity, Texas. He actively made donations to various charities.
Preceded by his mother Mollie Joe Seale, father Homer Lewis Hilton, brothers Harry Homer Hilton, and Joe Davis Hilton
Survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Michael Lewis & Debi Hilton of Friendswood, Texas and daughter & son-in-law, Vickie & Lynn Coleman of Trinity, Texas, sister, Anne Rose Bell, brother & sister-in-law, Clayton & Del of Pearland, Texas; grandson & wife Michael Chad & Stacie Watson great granddaughters Kellieanne & Katelynn Watson, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas for immediate family and friends. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue
