Leland Louis Jackson's Obituary
Leland grew up in Blessing, Texas and attended Blessing Elementary and Hilliard High School. He was baptized at an early age at Free Zion Missionary Baptist Church by Reverend W. Mayfield. Leland was employed by Grocer Supply and later went into business for himself as a Lawn Care entrepreneur. He met and married Bernice Jarmon in the year of 1957. To this union three children were born. He later met and married Rosealie Johnson Jackson in 1978. To this union two children were born. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lesser Jackson. Three brothers, James Hadden, Earcel Hadden (Pop), and Nathan Jackson. Five sisters, Georgie Lee Hadden, Doris Jackson, Jessie Mae Edwards, Edna Ruth Hadden and Inez Gloria Jackson. A grandson, Chase Chevas Watson. He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife of 42 years, Rosealie Johnson Jackson. Five children: Maurice Louis Jackson, Patrice Yvette Watson, Leslie Andre Jackson, Tiffany Olett Jackson, and Leland Louis Jackson II. Two brothers: Reverend Ben (Edna) Hadden and Freddie Jackson. Five Grandchildren: Quinton Culpepper, Christopher Jackson, Heather Jackson, Leslie Jackson, and Chelsie Robinson. He also leaves behind many great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
