Mrs. Lavern M. Jakob's Obituary
Lavern M. Jakob, 83, of Pasadena, Texas passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. Mrs. Jakob was raised in Mamou, Louisiana and graduated from Mamou High School where she was home Coming Queen in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband; Carl F. Jakob, parents; Joseph Vidrine and Lena Naquin Vidrine, siblings; Vernon Vidrine, Joyce Fontenot and Dee West. Survivors include children; Michael Jakob and wife Tracy and Nannette Eaton and husband Ron, sister; Alberta LeDoux, grandchildren; Jeffrey Jakob and wife Katie and Ethan Jakob and wife Denise, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Southpark Funeral Home, 1310 North Main St., Pearland, Texas 77581. A funeral Service to honor Mrs. Jakob’s life will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2015 at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.
