Ms. Lauren Rene Ammons' Obituary
Lauren Rene Ammons
8/30/1984-11/20/2012 Lauren Rene Ammons went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 20th , 2012. It was so very unexpected and has left all of us who loved her in shock. She is survived by her 20 month old daughter Paige Rene Reynolds. Parents: Larry and Lynn Ammons. Gradparents: Ken and Margo Ammons, and Nancy Gish. Sister and brother-in-law: Charity and Tony Wood. Brothers: William Morgan, Allen Ammons, and Daniel (D.J) Ammons. Aunts and uncle: Renee' Dowden, Cindy and Marty Haley. Nieces: Mackenzie Wood and Malana Ammons. Nephew: Jordan Wood. Cousins: Chanie and Riley Long, Wes, Brisa, Evelyn and Anna Forbes, Cody, Casey and Wyatt Haley, and many, many loving friends. Lauren was a graduate of Alvin High School, and worked as the Account Manager for Diamond J. Fasteners Industrial Supply Company. She was loved dearly by all who knew her and will be tremendously missed. Lauren was one of "the lucky ones"! The ability to eat anything she wanted and never worry about her jeans fitting, hair that was beautiful and always cooperated, sparkling eyes that took your breath away, an amazing body, a smile that could light up any room, an infectious laugh that could lighten any mood, a heart of gold bigger than the state of Texas, strength to take on any tough situation, and amazing grace. She loved with every ounce of her being, and was always there when you needed her. As I look back now that she is gone, I realize that we were the "lucky ones"!! While our time was incredibly too brief, I know that God gave us an angel in Lauren. As I see the awful things in this world we live in, I realize that Heaven must be short staffed because Jesus needed one of His best back by His side and called her home. I have learned so much from my baby sister, and now I must be strong and make her proud by living life like she taught me and all our jobs will now be to remind her little angel of the amazing woman that brought her into this world and loved her more than life itself!!!
