Larry Wayne Pace, aged 56, passed away on February 19, 2024, after a courageous 12-week battle with leukemia, during which he displayed remarkable strength and resilience, refusing to give up. His journey to eternal rest leaves behind a profound legacy of love, commitment, and unwavering courage.
On January 20, 1996, Larry united in marriage with Sharon D’Alessandro, embarking on a beautiful journey of twenty-eight years filled with shared dreams, challenges, and immeasurable joy. Together, they were blessed with two cherished children, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Brayden Nathanael, who were the light of Larry's life.
Born to Claude and Alvasyne Pace in Pasadena, Texas, Larry was a proud alumnus of Sam Rayburn High School, Class of '85. His high school years were enriched by many friendships and the joy of being part of the band. Larry dedicated many years of his career to the field of information technology, where he made a significant impact with his expertise and hard work.
Above all, Larry's faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of his life. His love also extended to the Houston Astros, the Republican Party, and Starbucks Coffee, showcasing his diverse interests and passions. Larry possessed a keen eye for photography and a love for music, which he shared generously with those around him. His knack for being a general handyman proved invaluable in the real estate investing business he ran with Sharon, demonstrating his versatility and dedication.
Larry was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His capacity to love and support his family and friends knew no bounds, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Claude and Alvasyne Pace; his in-laws, Nick and Sandy D’Alessandro; his brother-in-law, Nicky D’Alessandro; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who had enriched his life. Larry's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving wife, Sharon; his adoring children, Kaitlyn and Brayden Nathanael; his brother, Keith Pace, and his wife Kay Ruth; his sister, Karen Pace, and her partner Kim; his mother-in-law, Doris D’Alessandro; his sister-in-law, Karen Sennikoff, and her husband Steve; his brother-in-law, Robert D’Alessandro; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Larry's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and resilience. His legacy will continue to inspire those he has left behind, as they hold on to the precious memories created together.
