Mrs. Laressa Dawn Rudyk's Obituary
On March 27, 2012 Laressa Dawn Rudyk passed away at the age of 38. Laressa was truly a one of a kind individual. Her family and numerous friends will forever remember her generous spirit, brilliant mind, dry wit, and infectious smile. She was an amazing woman and an irreplaceable friend.
Laressa was a passionate educator who taught for many years in Canada. The past 5 years she worked at Pearland High School, Searcy Ninth Grade Center, and Alief Early College High School, where she taught a variety of math classes. She has undoubtedly influenced and impacted a multitude of young minds, expecting the absolute best both from and for her students. Her absence in the classroom will be a loss felt for generations.
Laressa is survived by her husband, Dr. Adam Thrasher; Mother Sharron; Father Evan and his wife Jo Anne; Sister Tanya her husband Marc and their son Felix; Grandmother Olive; Aunts and Uncles: Patti and Dana, Anita and Larry, Martin and Pat and Lois and David; numerous cousins; as well as her two little dogs, her babies, LuLu and Cookie. She will be sorely missed by so many!
A memorial service will be held at South Park Funeral Home 1310 North Main Street, Pearland Texas 77581 on Tuesday April 10th, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
