La'Vonte Daveon Mitchell Sr. was born on April 18, 1995, in Houston Texas to mother, Charlotte Mitchell and father, Charles Gooden. He was raised in Houston where he went to school and met his fiancé, Mary Gabriel. Later in life, the two welcomed several beautiful children. LaMeah & LaMiyah Mitchell, 6yrs old, La'Vonte D. Mitchell Jr 5, Skylar 10, Tyler 8, Jaydan 12.
La'Vonte leaves behind his grandparents, Allen & Delores Mitchell, Ginger & John Pitre, siblings, Dykendrick Joseph, Charmya Gooden, Trinity Gooden, Derrisha Gallow, Dai’lenn Mitchell, Shayla Clark, Jeremey Kelly, Andrew Kelly, Shara Kelly, Jerrica Kelly. He also leaves behind his godmother, Vickie Williams, godfather, Lee “Bug” Preston, aunts, Shontel Gooden, Michelle Boutte, Kimberly Fields, uncle, Allen “AJ” Mitchell Jr., Brandon Boutte, nephews, Adrien & Amir Joseph, Kaden & Jeremiah Kelly and one niece Zara Reese. He is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Diana Kemp and aunt, Leticia Mitchell.
He loved Basketball, playing his PlayStation, spending time with his children, writing music, cutting hair, working on model and remote-control cars, traveling and checking on family daily. He was high in faith with a big heart for everyone around him. La'Vonte was a man of integrity, loyalty and pride with a smile that was contagious to everyone around him.
His kindness, loyalty, and warm spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. La’Vonte leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories that his family and friends will hold close forever.
