My darling Grandfather,
It took me three days of staring at a blank piece of paper to write your obituary. I could not find the words that seemed worthy to describe what a truly amazing example that you set for our family, or to describe the amazing life you lived. I’m so happy you are out of pain. I’m going to miss you far beyond what any words could describe accurately. I want to say thank you for loving me unconditionally, for the way you loved Joe and the boys, and for always knowing exactly what to say. Until we meet again someday.
