Mr. Kenneth Mack Whitworth Sr.'s Obituary
Kenneth Mack Whitworth, Sr. passed away at home surrounded by family and loved ones on the early morning of May 27, 2013 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Kenneth is survived by his two children, Kenny Whitworth and wife Peggy and daughter Amy Whitworth Amormino and husband Steve. He has nine grandchildren Katie, Mike, Libby, Van, Trevor, Tori, Jake, Dante' and Jacob. He also has three great grandchildren Wyatt, Baron and Waylon. He is preceded in death by his Parents Dewey and Grace Whitworth, his brother Dewey Whitworth Jr and his daughter Rhonda Rhea Whitworth. Ken was a 1953 graduate of Jeff Davis High school. He worked for Champion/Simpon paper for 37 years and retired in 1995. In addition to his family he was a member of the BAPWA wave runner club. Ken was active in coaching youth sports in both Pasadena and Pearland Texas. Ken touched many lives and will be missed by all. A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 am in The Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2013 from 5 - 8 pm at SouthPark Funeral Home.
