Mr. Keith Dale Stone's Obituary
K. Dale Stone, known as Dale Stone, passed peacefully into the hands of our heavenly father, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Pearland, Tx. Dale was born on September 3, 1928 in Binger, Oklahoma. He is survived by his loving wife, Evangelina M. Stone of 32 years, daughter Brenda & son-in-law Larry Jackson, and daughter-in-law Sarah Stone. Stepchildren: Ariel Corona, Patsy Corona, Sylvia Corona, Rachel Reda, and Carla Corona. Grandchildren: Chris Harwell, Chad Stone, Roxanne Stone, Brandi Stone, Brian Chestnut, Stephen Mascari, Amanda Thornton, Robert Reda, Sarah Elmore, Aly Elmore, Josh Kunkel, Gus Stone and many loving great grandchildren, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester Stone & Roxanna Vann, brother Chester Van Stone. Grandchildren, Tawnya Harwell, grandson, Matt Harwell, and Scott Stone. Working Career: Dale began his profession in Gainesville, Texas, where he owned a dry cleaning service and managed a men's clothing store. There he fine-tuned his expertise as a retail entrepreneur. Later, he would own and operate a men's wear store called The Model Shop, located in Alpine, Texas for many years. Finally, Dale would make his way to Houston, Texas where he worked as a manager for the University Men's and Boy's Shop in the West University area. Favorite pastimes and passions: Dale was an avid reader, sports fan of football, basketball, bowling, pool, enjoyed the game of golf, card games, dominoes, loved big band music, broadway musicals, country music, enjoyed family, friends, and his dog, Sandi.
