Keith Herman Barnes Jr's Obituary
Keith was born on November 5, 1993 in San Diego, CA to Carmen and Keith Barnes Sr. He moved to Texas in 2008. He attended Assets Academy High School, in Alvin, TX. Assets Academy was a small private school without an athletic department. Keith wanted to play football so he played for the Alvin High School Yellow Jackets where he was a well-liked and respected member of the football team. He graduated from Assets Academy in 2013. Sadly, Keith passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2020 unexpectedly at the hands of a reckless and irresponsible drunk driver in Alvin, TX while working as a delivery driver for Papa Johns. His passing was unexpected and devastating to all who knew and loved him dearly.
Keith was a fun loving and kind soul that was always eager to assist or lend a helping hand to anyone in need. One of his most admirable traits was the ability to simply spend time with people and talk about any and everything. Over the years, he developed a strong passion for Anime, which are cartoons and animations that are created in Japan. His fascination with Anime led to him building countless model characters and components from the series known as Gundam models. Gundam models are very intricate and complicated and Keith took great pride in his diligence and attention to detail in creating them. In addition to his passion for Anime, he was an avid gamer and music lover who listened to and enjoyed every genre of music. That versatility made it extremely easy for Keith to fit into any social setting and thus relate to those with whom he was interacting.
Keith is survived by his mother Carmen, father Keith Sr, stepmom Christin and godparents Wesley and Shelly, Sisters Akira Galeai and Angel Baxter, nephew Cashton, several aunts, uncles, cousins and the love of his life, fiancé Natalie Woodford, also survive him. He is loved and will undoubtedly be missed by countless friends, companions and associates. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at South Park Funeral Home at 1310 N.
