Mrs. Katheryne Ann Hall's Obituary
Katheryne Ann Hall, 83, of Houston, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born on August 19, 1932 in Marion, Alabama
Her parents were Albert and Hazel Jackson She was their second child and had an older brother. They were always called "Brother" and ”Sister".
She lived in Alabama until moving to Texas in the '50's. She went to work for Speeflo Mfg. and was there for 43 years until she retired. She married Robert Hall on December 9, 1947 and they were married until his passing on September 28, 2005. She married Jim Hill on July 26, 2010 and they were married until her passing. She was a member of Beaumont Place Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School to the little ones, working on various committees and assisting with the Children's Vacation Bible School. She would consider all of her friends "special" but Miss Helen and Truman and Joyce Edwards were very dear friends for many years. She would have considered being a wife, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the biggest/most important events in her life. Her favorite hobbies would be dancing, socializing, reading, baking and shopping. She dearly loved Gospel music and loved dancing/listening to Country and Western. She would like a celebratory and religious atmosphere. She is survived by her husband, Jim Hill - children Cheryl & Bob Conklin, Tery & Keith Haag, Albert Hall, Sherri Hall and Tina Gates - grandchildren Joshua Haag and Erica Foxworth, Derrick and Laura Haag, Kristopher and Berenice Haag, Chelsea and Zach Edd, Nicolas Demchok, Amber Hall and James McElroy, Andy and Becky Hall, Adam Hall and Ashley and William Arnett and great grandchildren JJ (Joshua Jr.), Emma, Hailey, Courtney, AJ (Andy Jr.) and Raelynn and numerous nieces, nephews, the Hill family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, February 19, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Southpark Funeral Home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
