Kadin Lane Oxsheer's Obituary
Kadin Lane Oxsheer, 18, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2026, in Webster, Texas. He was born on May 23, 2008, in Lake Jackson, Texas, and from the very beginning brought light, laughter, and an unforgettable spirit to everyone blessed to know him.
Kadin was a proud graduate of Iowa Colony High School and JBH College Welding School, completing both in May of this year. Determined, hardworking, and full of ambition, he spent four years studying welding and working alongside his Papa, building the skills he hoped would shape his future career. His dream was to become a welder, and he pursued that goal with heart, grit, and excitement for the life he was building.
Kadin lived life with joy and energy. He loved spending time with his family and friends, always ready to laugh, dance, sing, or cook something delicious—whether he was the one making it or the first one ready to eat it. He enjoyed video games, music, traveling with his family, and swimming. He cherished every moment of fun, connection, and adventure. His loyal fur‑baby, Little Bro, was always by his side.
Kadin had a gift for making memories—big ones, small ones, silly ones, and the kind that stay with people forever. His presence filled rooms, lifted spirits, and brought people together.
He is preceded in death by his great‑grandfather, Edward “Old Fart” Bishop, whom he loved dearly.
Kadin is survived by his loving family: Mother: Crystal Cogan Father: Daniel Cogan Brothers: Jonathan A. Oxsheer, Richard K. Allen, and Trenton L. Cogan Sister: Judy D. Savage.
He is also survived by his great‑grandmother Carol Bishop; grandparents Melody and Randy Hall, and Paul and Connie Gonzalez; aunts and uncles Ryaine and Jennifer Gonzalez, Jacob and Alicia Gonzalez, Melinda and Eddie Foster, Cheyenne and Ruby Gonzalez, Tabitha and T.J. Bailey, and Samuel and Veronica Gilliland; along with numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him deeply.
Kadin’s life, though far too short, was full—full of love, laughter, talent, and the kind of joy that leaves a lasting mark. His memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
Mom's Poem
A beautiful smile, a kind heart,
And a spirit that touched so many lives.
Though your journey here was far too short,
The love and memories you gave us will last forever.
You were a cherished son, family member, and friend,
Bringing joy, laughter, and light wherever you went.
Not a day will pass that we won’t think of you,
Miss you, and carry you in our hearts.
Your life was a gift,
Your love a blessing,
And your memory a treasure we will hold forever.
Forever Loved. Forever Missed.
