Mrs. Julie A. Mack's Obituary
Julie Anne Cain Mack, 77 of Pearland, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on July 25, 2008.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by: Charles R. Mack, Sister, Martha Jo Andrews, Cousin, George Delhomme, Jr. and Son-in-law, Marc E. Hoppens.
Julie graduated from Incarnate Word High School, Houston TX in 1949 and St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing, Port Arthur, TX in 1953. She was a licensed registered nurse in the states of Texas, Louisiana and Colorado. Her greatest love was neonatology at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston. She is survived by her four children: Colleen Hoppens, Danny Mack and wife Eloise, Steven Mack and wife Lisa, Gerald Mack; grandchildren: Sgt. Ruben D. Mack, USMC and wife Michelle, Cori Castillo and husband Robert, Matt Hoppens, Lena Willbanks and husband Trey, Natalie Mack, Charlie Mack, Katie Mack; great grandchildren: Noa Mack and Claire Willbanks and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday July 31st from 5pm to 7pm at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland. A celebration of her life will be Friday, August 1st at 10am, St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road Pearland, Texas. Burial to follow at Ressurection Cemetery, Pearland, Texas. The family would like to thank Dr. Sandeep Gupta and the wonderful staff at Triumph Hospital for the special care and love she received.
