Judith Ann Wygal's Obituary
Judith "Judy" Ann Wygal was born in Menallen, Pennsylvania, on April 28th, 1945. Judy was called home to the arms of Jesus on Friday, May 23rd, 2025. She lived a long life of 80 years.
She was raised by her parents, who preceded her in death. She had one sister, who also preceded her in death. Judy had one son, Kenneth Ford, and they lived in Mississippi during her younger years. Judy then made her way to the big state of Texas, where she met Lynn Wygal. They met in a dance hall and fell in love while listening to music from Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, and many more. Lynn and Judy were married on Valentine's Day in 1998. The family's favorite memories of her would be dancing with the grandkids and at family gatherings. Dancing to her always remained because she was moving to the rhythm when music came on.
Lynn and Judy lived in Austin, Texas, for the beginning of their 27 years of marriage, and the remainder in Houston, Texas. She was an assistant manager in the cosmetology department at Eckerd and CVS for over 15 years. While in Austin, she fell in love with the many bluebonnets that lined the highways and the music that filled the venues while dancing. She adored the roses that bloomed outside her home. They moved to Houston and made their house a home with the proudly displayed pictures of her grandkids and family. Judy enjoyed decorating for Christmas, where she lovingly arranged her Santa Claus collection on her tree and table. She liked all things "Texas", the colors red and purple. Judy was loved by everyone who knew her, and the people around her would describe her as a gentle, kind soul who loved all. The passage that comes to mind when thinking of how she lived is 1 Corinthians 13:13: "And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love. But the greatest of these is Love."
Judy is survived by her husband, Lynn David Wygal, her son Kenneth, daughter-in-law Diane, and granddaughter Hannah. She is survived by her bonus children, Cherie, Alisha, and David. And bonus grandchildren, Megan, Britney, Ava, Blake, and Eleanor, the great-grandbaby on the way.
Judy Wygal's Funeral Service will be on June 5, 2025, at the South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Visitation will be from 9;00 am to 11 am, service at 11:00 am, and the Graveside will follow.
