Juanita Vasquez's Obituary
Juanita Vasquez, 89, passed away peacefully November 20, 2021. She was born July 2, 1932 in Brownsville, Texas to Baltasar and Maria.
She married Dario Vasquez, her loving husband of 56 years who preceded her in death in 2008. Preceding her in death are her three brothers, Baltasar, Enrique and Andy and sister Ernestina. Son-in-laws John Martinez and Tom Squires and her grandson David Martinez.
Juanita lived a full life making memories for everyone who knew her to remember forever. She enjoyed cooking, baking and Monday fish fries for family was the norm for many years. She loved to play bingo and made many friends with her hobby. And Chalupa nights were such fun for everyone! She loved to crochet, embroider, garden and was great at it all.
Juanita is survived by her eight children, Beatrice Martinez, Ana Guadiana and husband Juan, Virginia Squires, Frank Vasquez and wife Jan, Dario Vasquez Jr., Josie Holland and husband Mark, Andrea Gonzalez and husband Greg and Danny Vasquez and wife Laurie. She had 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. And a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
