Juan Carlos Gonzalez's Obituary
Juan Carlos (“JC”) Gonzalez, 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep with his family at his side on Monday, November 22, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. JC was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin and a great friend to many. Born on April 1, 1958 in Houston, TX to Juan and Ninfa Gonzalez. He attended Franklin Elementary, Edison Jr. High and Austin High School in Houston ISD. On June 7, 1997 he married Nelly S. Gonzalez and was happily married for almost 25 years. His Law enforcement career included Sergeant for the City of Ames, TX Police Dept., Deputy for Harris County Constable Pct. 6 and honorably retired with 30 years of service from the Metro Police Dept. in April 2020. JC loved vacationing with family, hunting, RVing, motorcycle riding, Astros baseball and had a passionate interest in cinema. JC was a fun and caring uncle to nephews and nieces: Luis, Robert, Eric, Karen and Rebecca. JC, we will always carry your memory in our hearts. JC is survived by his wife Nelly, son John Carlos Gonzalez (Johnny Boy), mother Ninfa T. Gonzalez, brother Luis J. Gonzalez and wife Carmen, sister Sylvia G. Barbosa and husband Robert. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00pm at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St. Pearland, TX 77581.
