Mrs. Josephine Salazar Mena's Obituary
Josephine Salazar Mena, born March 19, 1961, passed away on February 22, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Candelario H. Salazar and Maria De la Cruz Salazar; sister, Mary E. Arteaga; brother, Joe L. Salazar. She was the youngest of eight children. At the time of her death she resided in Alvin, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Marcus A. Mena; sisters, Carmen Hernandez and husband Rosendo, Dominga Cortez and husband Abel, Alicia Marroquin and husband Fidel, and Felicita Casarez; brother, Dr. Jesse Salazar and wife Anna; 25 nieces and nephews; 35 great-nieces and nephews; numerous other family members, and a host of friends.
A Vigil with Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday February 26, 2012 in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. Friends are invited to gather with the family that evening beginning at 5:00 PM. We love you and miss you, little sister!
