Born in Erumely, Kottayam, Kerala, he was the son of Scaria (Late) and Aleykutty Pulliyil (Late). He was brother to: Late Mariakutty (Late Kurian) Pallivathukal, Late Rosamma (Late Thomas) Vattapparayil, Chacko (Lucy) Pulliyil, Sebastian Pulliyil, Late Thomas (Leelamma) Pulliyil and Lucy (George) Pulliyil.
He was an active member of the St. Sebastian Syro - Malabar Archiepiscopal Forane Church in Nellickampoil, Kannur, Kerala.
He graduated from Punjab University, completed his post-graduation at Sri Venkateswara University (Andhra Pradesh), and earned his law degree from Bombay University (Mumbai). He proudly served in the Indian Air Force as a Corporal from 1965 to 1980. He then moved to Muscat, Oman, where he spent 26 successful years in business before immigrating to the United States in 2006 and settling in Sugar Land, Texas, in 2008.
Since 2008, he has been a member of the St. Joseph Syro Malabar Catholic Church and an active member of the St. Ann’s senior group.
He is survived by wife, Catherine Joseph, and his 2 sons, Joel Joseph and Jeril Joseph (Ann Joseph).
He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the life he built through hard work, perseverance, and faith.
