Mr. Joseph Randall Franks' Obituary
Joseph Randall Franks entered the peaceful Kingdom of Heaven on January 12, 2015, after battling lung cancer. Randy was born July 23, 1959, in Houston, TX where he grew up as the youngest of 3 children. He found beauty in simple pleasures and enjoyed time spent with family. Randy was a successful hair stylist for 22 years. He is preceded in death by all his grandparents, father Ira Franks Sr & sister Gail Johnson. Randy is now at peace and has been freed of all pain and suffering. His kindness and soft spoken nature will be remembered by his attentive and caring mother Mary Armaline Franks, brother Ira (Kim) Franks, brother-in-law Lee Johnson, as well as nieces Jill (Steven) Williams, Ann (Glynn Castro) Johnson, Kristen Franks and a great-nephew Lucien Williams.
Visitation will take place at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main St., Pearland, Texas on January 14, 2015 from 6pm - 8pm. Graveside services will be held at South Park Memorial Park on January 15, 2015 at 10am.
