Josefina M. Dalman's Obituary
Mrs. Josefina “Paping” Malicay Dalman, daughter of the late Andres Malicay and Pelagia Omandam, was born on September 13th, 1943 in Ponot, Zamboanga del Norte. She earned her Baccalaureate degree from Andres Bonifacio College.
She was united in holy matrimony to Dr. Nestor Eguia Dalman over 50 years. This loving union saw the couple blessed with three children.
Paping, as she was fondly called by her friends and family, was her husband’s tried and true partner in life. She successfully managed the business aspects of her late husband’s practice until the two of them retired and immigrated here to the United States. Known for her generous spirit and friendly personality, she was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Every person she crossed paths with will forever remember her pure, caring nature, and will always feel the impact of her life impressed upon them.
She departed this life Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 in her home surrounded by loved ones.
Paping truly lived her life to the fullest, making sure to put importance on life’s simple pleasures. She was blessed with a green thumb, and found great joy spending time in her vegetable garden. She also loved spending time chatting with family and friends, as well as using her amazing baking skills to show love through her delicious food.
She possessed the uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way and will be greatly missed.
Despite her declining health, Paping remained positive and continued living her life as strong as she could til the very end. She is survived by her three children; Van Julius Dalman, Glorineil Cadiang, and Nestor Dalman Jr, as well as her grandchildren Isabel, Evan, Sophia, Crisnelle, Kyle, and Kevin.
