I don’t have an older brother, but I’ve always imagined that if I did, he would have been just like Jose. Because of that, I would quietly claim myself as his younger brother whenever I talked about him—without him ever knowing. I wish I could have told him how much I looked up to him.
I miss him so much at work and didn’t even realize it until now. Goodbye, my friend—my “older brother.”
Joe was one of my closest and dearest friends, going all the way back to high school. He was the kind of friend you could talk about anything with from diagnosing a broken A/C to the chords of a song. Joe was kind to everyone and his door was always open if you needed a place to stay. Joe was someone who wouldn't sugar coat things but always did it to help you see the bigger picture. There are so many things I'm gonna miss about Joe but one in particular is our conversations and drinking beer after band practice.
Those were great times! Until we jam again, I miss and love you my brother!!

Jose and I worked hand in hand for seven years, and over that time our relationship continued to grow. I was truly looking forward to seeing it grow even stronger in the years ahead.
Jose was incredibly smart at what he did. The kind of person who didn’t just do the job, but understood it. His knowledge, dedication, and pride in his work were evident every single day, and he was someone I genuinely respected and learned from.
Beyond the work, he was a good man, a dependable teammate, and someone you could always count on. His presence made a difference, and he will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege to work alongside him.

I met Joe through his Beautiful Sister Sandra! I First met him in Galveston at a Beach house they rented for the Weekend! I remember Joe asking my Brother Ricky if he could ask me to dance. He was always so Respectful! So we danced and he told me Chiquita you can dance! Como no! Lol
He asked me to go see him play downtown sometime. Sorry Joe I never got that chance! May you sing and dance and play all the music in Heaven! Beautiful Sandra, Ms. Luna and family my thoughts and prayers are with y'all always! May God give y'all strength through this time and always.🥺🙏✨️🙌✝️ May you RIP Joe! God Bless!
