Mr. Jose Carvajal's Obituary
Jose Carvajal, 86, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Carvajal was born on April 19, 1929 in La Luz, Salvatierra, Guanajuato, Mexico to Trinidad Carvajal and Maria Luz Flores . He was the 6th of 9 children. He married the love of his life Rosa Mendoza on April 22, 1975. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a 4th degree member of The Knights of Columbus. Mr. Carvajal was a joyous, kind, mischievous, loving, generous and humble man. The most important events in his life was meeting his wife, starting a family and becoming a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. His favorite pastime was gardening, playing cards, dominos, traveling and drawing. He had a love for music, Rancheras, oldies and ballads.
Mr. Carvajal is preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Maria Luz; son, Jose Ramon Aragon. He is survived by his loving wife Rosa Carvajal; children, Jose T. Carvajal, Felipe Patino and wife Carmen, Rosa Carbajal and husband Juan; brothers, Guadalupe and Anastacio Carbajal; grandchildren, Dulce Ladner and husband Conrad, Jose Luis Carbajal and wife Maria Herrera, Ana Patino-Martinez and husband Michael, Lezet Perez and husband Manuel, Edgar Patino and wife Ruth Curtis, Itzel Carbajal, Karely Aragon, Daniel Aragon and Katia Aragon; daughter-in-law, Martha Leticia Aragon; 10 great-grandchildren, great niece, Carmen Lugo; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday February 18, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Southpark Funeral Home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral services will be held Friday February 19, 2016 at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.
