Jorge Bravo Reyes' Obituary
Jorge Bravo Reyes was a brother, a father and a friend to many. He was born on
February 17,1964 in Progreso Puebla to mother Eufemia Reyes and father
Audenio Bravo. While not being raised in the best circumstances Jorge did the
best he could with the tool's god gave him. With only an elementary education,
Jorge did not let it stop him from pursuing a better life.
Like most people, Jorge figured the best way to make a better living for himself
was to take a chance at a new life in another country with more opportunities. He
relocated to Houston, Tx where he met his wife Teresa Herrera and had 4
beautiful children together: Jessie, Denise, Maribel and Elizabeth Bravo.
Jorge put his best foot forward every day to provide for his family and did what
any loving father would do, put his family's needs above his own. Jorge acquired
many skills throughout his life. He worked in restaurants in the early years doing
everything that was required of him. And even started a painting business. But it
was his role in maintenance that would make the biggest impact in his life. Jorge
had many friends in his new role which allowed him to help those in need. He
was best known for his friendly personality and willingness to help others and of
course his love for the game of basketball where he made many lifelong friends.
On October 28th, Jorge entered eternal rest. It was a day that took us by surprise
and that we will never forget. Jorge is survived by his Wife and children along
with his grandchildren: Mariah, Jacob, Valerie, Joshua, Michael and Amelia. He
will forever live in our hearts and memories. May he rest in peace.
