Mr. John Noble Wheaton's Obituary
John Noble Wheaton of Pasadena, Texas born June 9, 1930 in Lackawanna, New York entered the Lord's kingdom on June 23, 2011 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. John was preceded in death by his parents Noble and Mildred Wheaton, sisters Shirley and Peggy and beloved great grandson Donald John Rowland Jr. He is survived by Florence Wheaton, beloved wife of 56 years, son John Wheaton and wife Monica; daughters Jackie Moylan and husband Paul, Carol Rowland and husband Kerry, Annie Wheaton, Pattie Lukaszewski and husband Johnny, and Michele Longoria and husband Tom. Grandchildren; Sarah Moylan, Donald John Rowland, Lora DeMaioribus, Angel McDonald, Mary Beth Wheaton, and Ann Marie Wheaton. Great grandchildren; Kaitlyn Rowland, Calvin Rowland, Geena DeMaioribus, Joseph DeMaioribus, Brannon McDonald, and Megan McDonald.
John served in the United States Air force from August 1950 to July 1954, in the 4700th Material Squadron. He was awarded the German Occupational Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 521.
All will miss him.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 1PM to 3PM and the funeral service will be held at 10AM on Monday, June 27, 2011 at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery at 1310 North Main, Pearland, TX 77581.
