Mr. John Harlan Warren's Obituary
John Harlan Warren, 71, of Magnolia, Texas, beloved husband and father went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 1, 2009. John was born October 23, 1937 in Houston, Texas to Johnny and Thelma Warren. He died as a result of an accident at his home on December 3, 2008. John retired in 1997 after 41 years of employment with Petro Tex / TPC. John is preceded in death by his parents Johnny and Thelma Warren and his brother Joseph. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 44 years, and his three daughters, Toni Warren and husband Jeff, Carmen Kiser and husband Sam, and Kathleen Ballad and husband Jeff. John is also survived by three sisters, Joyce Roy and husband James, Linda McKeehan and husband Paul, and Faye Garrett and husband Larry; and one brother, Robert Warren and wife Lynn; one brother-in-law John Cole and wife Shelia. In addition, John is survived by one aunt, Josephine Brooks and her husband Eddie, 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6th at SouthPark Funeral Home. A service celebrating John's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7th in the chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers John's wishes were that you make a donation in his name to the charity of your choice.
