John Thomas' Obituary
John Thomas was born on February 20, 1961 to Pastor A.T. Thomas and Mrs. Annamma Thomas in Ernakulam District, Kerala, India, in a parsonage. His father was a minister of the Gospel for over 50 years, and John took after him in wanting to use his life for Christ through ministry. He was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on December 23, 2022 in Oklahoma surrounded by his family.
Pastor John Thomas unapologetically followed The Word along with his wife and children, faithfully serving God. Together they brought up all four of their daughters, Deborah, Joann, Sarah, and Shannon in the faith. In 2021, Bibin Cherian joined the family as the husband of Joann. John was preceded in death by his father, Pastor A.T. Thomas, mother Annamma Thomas, and brother Mathew Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Mercy, children Deborah, Joann & Bibin, Sarah, Shannon, and siblings T. Thomas, Abraham Thomas, Varughese Thomas, and Gracy Mathew. Pastor John Thomas was a loving husband and father, passionate minister, zealous missionary, and generous person to the community. He was well known for his compassion to the hurting and needy. He was a blessing to all who knew him, and will be dearly missed by everyone. We celebrate his life and his legacy.
