John Joseph " Jack" Kaleh's Obituary
John Joseph “Jack” Kaleh, 92, of Pearland, Texas was born February 3, 1933, and passed away the evening of January 5, 2026. Jack graduated from John H. Reagan High School in 1952. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956 in Hamburg, Germany. Jack met his wife, Tarry on a blind date and within a year they married on December 13, 1958. He was a successful graphics designer and advertising manager for many years. His professional life culminated in the creation of Dejonka Graphics. With his creativity in combination with Tarry’s knowledge of computer graphics, Dejonka Graphics prospered. Jack had a passion for gardening as shown by the beautiful seasonal landscapes at his home. From trees, bushes and flowering plants to vegetable gardens and fruit trees, he enjoyed them all. Jack loved bull riding, the rodeo, and family hunts but most of all, he loved Tarry. Jack and Tarry traveled throughout the world. Two of their favorite destinations were Las Vegas and New Orleans. Family and friends joined them on many occasions. Jack is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Tarry. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Fred and sister-in-law, Victoria. Left to mourn are his brothers, David, Joey (Brenda), Billy (Sandy), his daughter Desiree (John) Hatcher, his son John (Lee Ann) Kaleh, his daughter Kandy (Mark) Michna, his five grandchildren Brian (Stacey) Kaleh, John Michael (Jana) Hatcher, Jamie (Jason) Elrod, Jaclyn (Ethan) Escalante, Jake Schneider and five great- grandchildren Summer Kaleh, Kyleigh Elrod, Siena Kaleh, Kyndall Elrod and Matthew Escalante.
