John was truly the best of the best when it came to friendship and caring for others. We worked side by side on many an incident here in Pearland for many years, he being a most dedicated medic in our EMS and myself being the Fire Chief. Outside of our duties we were also great friends and even after my retirement when John continued his EMS service to the community, he and Shellie would stop by regularly for a visit with myself and wife Candy.
Our sincere condolences go out to Shellie, and all of John's family. We will greatly miss John and those enjoyable visits he and Shellie shared with us over the past years.

I had the pleasure of working with John for several years after his service with the Houston Fire Department. A caring and thoughtful gentleman who loved helping others. Shelly you have been in my thoughts since I heard of your Dad's passing, know that I'm praying for you and your family during this loss. Your Dad was one of a kind and will be truly missed by all. He touched so many peoples lives making a difference in his service to others.
