John Wilson Borden, Jr., from Fresno, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 21, 2014. He was born on August 27, 1942 in Houston, Texas, and was preceded in death by his parents John W. Borden, Sr., Theda Vernelle Borden, Second Mother, Ruby Borden, Daughter Beverly Ann Gogle Bryant, and Granddaughter Natalie Davis. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Ann Borden, Sister, Bobbie Hatcher, Son John W. Borden III and wife Cyndi, Daughter Jeannie Lea Neal, and Son Stephen Borden and wife Vige, Grandchildren, Scott Davis and wife Lisa, Kimberly West and husband Christopher, Amber Gogle, Renee Borden, John W. Borden IV, Emily Gogle, Bayleigh Borden, Jacob Neal, Abigail Bryant, Greyson Cash Borden, and Great-Grandchildren Cameron Davis, Kylie West and Christopher West, Jr, and a multitude of additional Family and Friends. He was medically retired from the United States Navy in 1962. He worked for Western Electric / Southwestern Bell for 35 years, retiring in 1997. He was a Charter Member and Chairman of the Deacons at First Baptist Church Fresno. He was instrumental in forming the Fresh Water Supply District No. 1, serving as it's president for 14 years. He is an Endowed Member and Master Mason in the Grand Lodge of Texas affiliated with Lodge Number 1295.
