A celebration of life for Joey Perez 6/08/1942 to 6/08/2025 Joey Perez passed away peacefully 6/08/2025 at the age of 83 on his birthday, surrounded by his family, friends and close neighbors that cared for him. Joey Perez Born June 8, 1942, in Hidalgo, TX He was a dedicated worker in the transportation industry for 50 years. Which included having worked for Standard Construction. He was also a member of Templo Bethel and Templo Jerusalen for most of his life. In his early years he was a member of the Grupo Nazaret in which he sang and ministered at several churches for the Concilio C.L.A.D.I.C. Joey was preceded in death by his parents Jose Pedro Perez and Alicia Gonzalez Perez Brothers Omero Perez and Roberto Perez and his loving wife Ester Castaneda Perez. He is survived by his children, Rudy Joey Perez and wife Shelly M Perez, Ronnie Joe Perez and wife Nancy C Perez, Yvonne Gutierrez and husband Joe Gutierrez, Daniel Joe Perez and wife Jan C. Perez, his 8 grand children, 12 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild Services will be held at South Park Funeral home 1310 North Main St Pearland, TX 77581 Visitation Monday June 16 from 5pm -8pm Funeral Service Tuesday June 17 from 10am-11:00am
