JoElla Bertrand Kibodeaux's Obituary
JoElla Bertrand Kibodeaux, 61, passed away peacefully at her home in Alvin, Texas on December 19, 2022.
JoElla was born in Lake Arthur, Louisiana on August 27, 1961 to parents Clarence and Faye. She later married her husband Lonnie, and they have been residing in Texas since 1997. Over the years, JoElla became known by many other names such as Jo, JoJo, Mom, and Maw-Maw. She was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and family. Those that knew ‘JoJo’ also knew that she loved to play just as much! JoElla loved going on adventures with her family! Especially when traveling with her husband by cruise ship that was headed toward a tropical destination! The only thing that would make their cruises better were when their children and grandchildren joined them at sea! Apart from traveling, she also enjoyed thrift shopping, playing slot machines, and sitting on her back deck with the people she cherished most. Her distinct voice and infectious laugh could be heard by all and will surely be missed…
“BIGGER THAN THE WORLD!”
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband Lonnie Paul Sr.; her children: Heather, Shane, and Lonnie ‘T-Paul’ Jr. (Danielle); her seven grandchildren: Makenzie, Mason, Maylee, Jase, Emma, Logan, and Trevor; Sister: Charlotte (John); her brother: Garyn; her mother and step father: Faye and Bob Geisen; step siblings: Dana and James; sister in laws: Debi (Randy), Viki, Stephanie (Victor); brother in law: Michael; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
