Joe Michael “Mike” Reyes 1970-2020, a Covid-19 Victim
Mike Reyes entered the loving arms of the Our Lord on July 4th, 2020 at the age of 50 years old. He was the husband of Cynthia Reyes. They shared 27 years together.
He was born in Houston, Texas on May 19, 1970. He was the son of Samuel Soto Reyes and Guadalupe Ann Reyes. He was employed at S& B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd and worked as an electrician for almost 20 years.
He dedicated his life to working and taking care of his family. He loved to coach his daughters in softball and his son in baseball, boxing and taekwondo. He loved to listen to classic rock and country music amongst other music, out on his patio enjoying what he passionate about, his sports and bar-b-que with his family. He was an avid lover of sports and food. He loved to bar-b-que for his family and was trying his hand at smoking delicious foods. He was an enthusiastic fan when it came to watching his sports -football (Texans), baseball (Astros) and basketball (Rockets).
Mike Reyes is preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Reyes and children Chassity, Alexandria, and Christian Reyes. His brother Matthew Reyes, his father Samuel S. Reyes, his mother Guadalupe Ann Reyes.
Mike will always be remembered by his friends and family for his big personality and his big heart.
