He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gloria Gossett; sons, Michael Gossett and wife Alicia, Joe Dan Gossett Jr., David Gossett and wife Aralea, Dale Gossett and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Vanessa Ann Gossett, Michael Ray Gossett Jr., Anthony Adam Gossett, Jacob Gossett, Joyce Gossett; and several great-grandchildren
