Celebrating the life of Jo Ann Grons
Jo Ann was born on May 16, 1948 in Amityville, NY and moved to Texas with her family as a small child where she attended school while growing up. Jo Ann later married Bernd Grons and had 2 sons,Chris and Bernd aka Bubba. Jo Ann was a go getter and found herself involved in many types of careers throughout the years. She was involved in Home Interiors,Boat Sales, The Trucking Industry and The Food and Beverage Industry. Later in life Jo Ann found herself divorced and ready for a new change and start and moved to Las Vegas, where she worked in The Gaming Industry and The Food and Beverage Industry and eventually retired as a member of the Las Vegas Culinary Union. In her leisure time, Jo Ann enjoyed bowling, knitting, playing darts, bingo, playing video poker and keno and spending time with her family and friends.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruth Briggs. Son, Bernd Rudy Grons ( Bubba) and sister, Patricia Anne Helm-Briggs.
She is survived by her son, Chris Grons and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great grandson.
Jo Ann would want you to remember the happy and good times spent and shared with her throughout the years and to celebrate the life she lived.
