Jesus J. Ortiz's Obituary
Jesus Ortiz, 76, went to be with God on August 27, 2021, after a long, but very brave battle with COVID-19. He was born on August 19, 1945, in Guanajuato, Mexico and resided in Pearland, Tx. at the time of his passing.
Jesus loved his family very much. He is survived by one daughter, Adriana Graham, and son-in-law Craig as well as three sons: Jessie Ortiz and wife Michelle, Mario Ortiz and wife Traci, George Ortiz, and wife Monica. He was a proud Grandpa to ten grandchildren: Justin, Matthew, Nathan, John, Dylan, Kayla, Isaac, Nicholas, Anthony, William Shelton and two great grandchildren: Peyton and Luna.
After 30+ years of service, Jesus retired from SouthPark Funeral Home where he worked in maintenance. He loved his job and was a hardworking man. He spent his time after retirement happily working in the yard, garden, and outdoors. He was always the first one ready whenever there was an event or family gathering. He was a kind man with a big heart.
Jesus was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him
